Mike Nason, Student Ministry Coordinator

Mike was raised in the Burlington area and moved to London in 1991. His plan was to attend London Baptist Bible College and get a Bachelor's degree in Religious Education. After fifteen years of living in London, he instead has an incredible wife, Vikki, who he married in 2001, and a beautiful daughter, Emma, who was born in 2002. Oh ... about the degree? Mike has completed three years of his four year Bachelor's program and plans to finish up in the next decade or so.

In 2004, Mike came on staff at Village Green as the Youth Ministry Coordinator. When Mike is not using his position to act like a teenager and shirk adult responsibilities, he enjoys spending time with his family and playing guitar on one of the church's worship teams.

Shirley Ella, Office Administrator

Shirley grew up in Campbellville. For 32 years she worked with the Provincial Government as a secretary and administrator in special education at Schools for the Deaf in Milton and London, as well as the Amethyst School in London. Upon retirement in 1996, Shirley began to work as the Administrator at Village Green.

Shirley enjoys entertaining, games, her swimming pool, and the Blue Jays!

Ray Abernethy, Custodian

Ray was born in Vancouver and raised in Alberta, where he spent time on the oil rigs. After a stint in the army, he moved to Ontario in 1981. Ray worked for years as a landscaper and got degrees in Horticulture & Landscaping. He accepted the Lord in 1994, joined Village Green and has been our custodian and groundskeeper since 1996.

Ray enjoys swimming, weightlifting, boxing, hockey and ... surprise, surprise ... landscaping!
