Have you ever read one of the parables told by Jesus and wondered “what on earth is he trying to tell me?” or, ”What is the big idea here that I am supposed to get out of this anyway?” The parables can be confusing. Well if you have thought anything like that, you’re not alone. They were even confusing for Jesus’ first disciples. So starting in May at Senior High Life, we are going to be taking a closer look at some of the parables told by Jesus. We’ll be taking a “big picture” perspective on the parables as we learn how some of these stories apply to our lives and our relationships.

Everyone bring $5 to small group. Everyone needs to feel appreciated. We’re going to spread the love by handing out free coffee to our community service workers. Their reactions are always the best part about doing this one.

Meet at the church at 7pm.

We'll meet at VG at 3 pm and head over to LazerQuest for a couple of games. Then back to one of the senior high homes for a BBQ and games. Cost and other details coming soon.

With summer right around the corner, there is never a shortage of things that need to get done around the house. The Senior High would love the opportunity to help with your spring cleaning, yard maintenance, painting or whatever else you might need help with.

Senior Hugh meet at the church at 12 noon and we finish up on the sites by 4:30. Parents pick up back at the church by 5 pm.

There will be practices on Saturday the 24th at 2 pm and Thursday May 28th at 6:30 @ V.G.

Come out and join other area youth groups along with teachers from local high schools at Village Green for a relaxed night of prepping for upcoming exams. Listen to some music, enjoy a snack, see your teachers in a different light and take the opportunity to ask the questions about those exams that are stressing you out.
