Preschool - Ages 2 to 3 years

Here's what we do on Sundays!

If you have preschoolers, please bring them! Sonshine kids meet in the bright yellow room in the lower level which is a warm, spacious area and is open from 10:20 am. on Sunday mornings and will run during church times. Like the Nursery, it has an adjoining bathroom and diaper-changing area. The pre-school is managed by Sharon Dell, a certified teacher. It is always staffed by two volunteers.

During the morning, children are taught creative, age-appropriate curriculum. This means that Bible lessons are both developmentally and spiritually appropriate for your child, as well as fun. Children learn that Jesus loves them and wants to be their best friend, as well as how to live a life devoted to Jesus. Specifically, the teachers working with preschoolers begin building a child's spiritual foundation. We are using the “Scripture Press” curriculum this year in the preschool.

Parents: Please pick up your children from Nursery, Preschool and JK/SK rooms immediately following the service. We request that all children coming to the nursery and preschool be escorted to their areas by their parents. Please inform us of any special care requirements for your child.

Please note: Should there ever be an emergency that requires everyone to exit the building, the leaders and workers of our children's programs will be responsible for taking the children outside and parents can meet them in the southeast end of the parking lot.
