The Seib Family
Rod and Eileen have been with SEND International for over 17 years. Since returning to Taiwan in November 2006, they have been learning the language and getting involved in the Taiwanese church. Their goal is to engage in a ministry of evangelism, discipleship and leadership training in the Taiwanese church.
Rod and Eileen met while studying at Providence College and were married in 1986. Two years later, they joined SEND International. They went as missionaries to Taiwan in 1991, but had to return to Canada in 1993 due to special health needs of their first child (Erin).
Shortly thereafter, Rod joined the Canadian office of SEND as a Missions Mobilizer. From 2001 to 2004, he was the Personnel Director & Manager of Member Care. Both were actively involved at Village Green, where Eileen worked in children’s ministry and Rod served on the Missions Committee (10 years), as a worship leader (8 years), Worship Director, deacon and occasional Bible teacher.
