Rueben and Bev, along with their children Andrew and Catherine, live in Armenia, Colombia, where Rueben pastors the Shalom Adonai Christian Community Church. They also have a wider ministry, training and supporting Christian leaders and pastors throughout Colombia.

Rueben came to Canada from Colombia in the mid-1990s to study at Tyndale Seminary. There he met and married Bev, who was a Canadian IVCF worker with international students. Before returning to Colombia, Rueben and Bev developed a relationship with Village Green. In 2000, Village Green sent a team of people [called Greenlight 2000] to assist after the earthquake. A year later, Ruben and Bev brought a Colombian team to Canada to serve. Our relationship continues to this day.
