Serving with FEB International in Hitachinaka, Japan

Rob and Kathryn, along with their children Tessa, Grady and Julia, are church planters who have a heart for developing relationships with people in Hitachinaka City. They use various methods of evangelism, including informal outreach through natural community involvement, supper parties for kids and teens (most Saturday nights), and English classes which lead to Bible Studies.

For now, the church in Hitachinaka is in its beginning stages. But the Flemings' longer-term goal is to disciple new Japanese believers to reach their family and friends with the aim of starting a culturally-sensitive, Japanese-led, reproducing church in Hitachinaka.

Kathryn is the daughter of former Village Green members Reg and Marita Campbell. Since being adopted as Mission Partners, the Flemings have visited Village Green, as have several of their Japanese friends. In addition, some VG members have visited the church plant in Japan.
