Haydn Jensen

Project Manager for National Director of Campus Ministries, IVCF

Haydn and Susan, along with their children Emily and Taleah, are members at Village Green where they have been involved in music and worship ministries.

Haydn works for Inter Varsity Christian Fellowship, for which he plans events and projects such as the August campus minister retreat, National Student Leadership Conference, Canadian Student Leadership Track at Urbana and City/script (a week of in-depth Bible study & urban ministry exploration for Ontario students).

The role requires prayer, vision, courageous and thorough planning, strategic and tactical implementation, network connections, teamwork and full partnership from staff and supporters.

The goals of Haydn’s ministry are that

  • Inter-Varsity campus ministers are well-trained to work alongside students in building witnessing communities based on sound biblical observation, interpretation and application
  • Through witnessing communities, students meet Jesus and are transformed into fully committed followers of Jesus Christ
  • Students learn how to live out their faith and share it with others
  • University students and graduates become instruments of change within Canada’s academic institutions
  • Students become Kingdom leaders; men and women who will impact others as they become the next generation of missionaries, business people and law-makers
  • Campus ministry teams increases in size and presence on Ontario campuses
  • IV campus ministry is suitably funded to enable greater scope and impact
