Jon joined Village Green as Lead Pastor in April 2008. Jon grew up in London. He has - at various times - worked in his family's bakery business, sung in a rock band and most recently, planted and pastored Masonville Community Church. Jon is also an adjunct professor at Heritage College and Seminary in Cambridge Ontario specializing in biblical studies.

Family:  Married to Darlene. Two sons; Michael who is married to Leah, and Jason who is engaged to Suzanne.
Education:  MDiv from Heritage Seminary and DMin from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School.
Major Influence:  There have been a few people in my life who have been wonderful models of Christlikeness. Their examples have played a major part in who I am and where I am today.
Little-known Fact:  I am actually quite shy.
Indispensable:  We are nothing without God.
Almost Indispensable:  My family and friends. I truly have been blessed with a family that keeps me honest and a host of friends who keep me real.

Comfort food:  Ice cream. And carbohydrates!
Passion:  Building the kingdom.
TV:  My greatest source of frustration!!
Music:  Music has been a huge part of my life. The influences are too numerous to mention, but growing up in the 70’s and 80’s I got to see most of the big acts of the era.
Team:  Oddly enough, there is no team in any sport that I feel a particular affinity to. I just enjoy watching whenever I can.
Perfect day:  Any day that allows me to do the things I love or be with the people I care the most about.
