Village Green wants to live out Jesus’ kingdom values by fighting poverty and injustice, both locally and globally.

In 2010, our global focus will be on providing clean drinking water to people in developing countries where there is a high rate of death and illness due to waterborne disease. We are committed to providing sustainable, participatory, cost-effective water solutions to meet the long-term needs of the community, all in the name of Christ.

In the context of the adage "Give a man a fish and you'll feed him for a day; teach a man to fish and you'll feed him for a lifetime." we want to make a lasting impact on communities by helping them to not only obtain clean water filtration systems but also to achieve self-reliance by learning to maintain those systems.
